The Adult Adventure Course at Flagstaff Extreme is a self-paced, high-elevation obstacle experience set in the heart of Arizona’s largest pine forest. Designed for ages 12 and up, the course includes five progressive circuits—each with 10–17 obstacles ranging from rope swings and hanging nets to scrambling walls and suspended surprises.
After a 30-minute safety briefing and gear orientation, you’ll begin on the GREEN course, which introduces basic movement and equipment use. From there, you’ll climb through SILVER, BLUE, RED, and finally the BLACK course—each increasing in elevation, difficulty, and thrill factor.
The entire experience takes approximately 3–4 hours, and you can exit at any point if needed. Walking paths connect each circuit to the welcome center, and staff are available throughout the course for support. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned climber, this treetop challenge offers a unique way to explore Flagstaff’s natural beauty while testing your limits.
